What about testing for belts?

After you have attended classes for a few weeks the instructor will ask you to attend you're first promotional belt testing. You will be asked to perform a few basic movements and techniques that you will have learned in the class. Upon successful completion of the test you will be awarded your new belt. There is a minimal charge for testing to cover your belt, certificate, and organizational fees that certify your rank on a national level.
